Grown Up kind of Fun!

There is a new museum in town that I have been dying to check out, but the problem is that is it is geared to patrons under 4 foot tall and I feel a little too tall to ride if you know what I mean!

The Fort Worth Museum of Science and History  is home to an expansive collection of fun and exciting exhibits!! A couple that really peaked my interest are the vintage toy collection and a collection titled Picture This, a look into the history and science of photographic processes, cameras, and the evolution of photography.

Today a friend of mine told me about an awesome event geared just for adults like me who want to enjoy the museum with a few bonus perks!! The Adult After Hours is a monthly event for grown ups with childlike enthusiasm. There is a different theme each month with corresponding activities to participate in and the $10 price tag is more affordable than most movies or door charges. Don't worry. If you like your weekend nights to include adult beverages, the museum has you covered.

This month's event is tomorrow evening and starts at 6:30 pm. Tickets are available here!

I would love to hear about other fun and non-traditional events going on in my area or yours, so please feel free to share!

  1. I went to the DaVinci after Dark theme night at the FWS&H Museum a few months ago. It was fun! But tomorrow night, I'm going to see free music on W.7th and Crockett- Billy Joe Shaver, the Whiskey Folk Ramblers and the Orbans. Y'all have fun!
